5 Software description
(a) Engage Squared provides a software as a service solution assisting with the organisation, orchestration and management of meetings:
(i) Board Connect Application. Engage Squared hosted board connect application is an Engage Squared developed solution that operates fully on a leased instance (Microsoft Azure) controlled by Engage Squared, which interacts with Microsoft’s Graph API’s to create, retrieve, update and delete data from the Microsoft Platform. The features available to the Customer will depend on their selected Licence Plan.
(ii) Board Connect Licensing Application. The licensing verification process ensures that the Board Connect Application is licensed correctly, based on Customer’s Licence Plan. The licensing software fully operates on a leased third-party instance (Microsoft Azure) controlled by Engage Squared, which stores a GUID reference to the Team and channel, where the Board Connect Application has been installed. The Board Connect Application conducts API calls to the Board Connect Licensing API’s when a board has been added or removed from a channel.
(iii) Board Connect Logging Application. The logging software fully operates on a leased third party instance (Microsoft Azure) controlled by Engage Squared. The logging captured contains anonymised references to each action undertaken in Board Connect, so that it can be used to help diagnose problems.
(b) Customer acknowledges that Engage Squared is using Microsoft Graph APIs to orchestrate the creation, reading, updating and deletion of content relating to the Software, and that Engage Squared is bound by terms and conditions for the use of these APIs. Engage Squared does not provide warranties for the APIs or the Microsoft Platform in general.
